Cops: King City traffic stop leads to arrest in string of burglaries

King City police have arrested a man suspected in more than half-a-dozen burglaries.

About 10:15 p.m. Saturday, police pulled over Felipe Alejandro Rubio, 33.

Rubio is a gang member also known as “Lonely,” police said.

Officers found that Rubio had numerous pieces of stolen property, and they’ve linked him to seven burglaries in the city, police said.

Cops then searched Rubio’s residence and found “a substantial amount of stolen property,” the they said.

It’s now a matter of finding the rightful owners.

Police want victims of recent home and car burglaries to visit the police station, 415 Bassett St., to look for their stolen property.
