A field worker suffered burns this morning after a 1,200-gallon drum of sulfuric acid spilled on him in Aromas, KION Central Coast News reported .
The spill occurred at San Juan and Murphy Roads. Emergency crews flew the field worker to a San Jose Hospital, the California Highway Patrol said, according to KION.
The accident led crews to temporarily close Murphy Road between San Juan Road and Highway 129.
